Albugnano DOC Finibus Terrae represents the utmost elegance of Nebbiolo, resulting from the combination of unique soils, altitude and the particular microclimate of this small territory located in the heart of Piedmont, where the Municipality of Albugnano, leader of the production area, gives its name to the DOC. Here, the noblest of Piedmontese wines is aged for three years in oak barrels and six months in the bottle, so as to acquire great elegance and balance.

Vinification: Grapes are hand-picked, soft pressing, long maceration at a temperature not exceeding 26°C. De-stemming is performed.
Maturation: Minimum 40 months, large barrel + bottle
Color:  Intense garnet red.
Aroma:  Ethereal and intense, floral and slightly spicy, with a delicate hint of wood.
Taste: Elegant and balanced, soft tannins, savoury, persistent.
Best time to consume:  Immediately, but evolves positively for at least 15 years after the harvest if properly stored.
Pairings:  First and second courses based on red meat or mature cheeses
Serving instructions: Uncork 1 hour before, possibly place in a carafe and serve in large glasses at 18-20°C.
