Cari or Pelaverga, another name for this vine, gives rise to a historic wine. Appreciated by Turin aristocratic families since 1600 for the aphrodisiac properties attributed to it, it is cultivated on the Turin hill on the right bank of the Po river, up to Chieri.

Vinification:  After a brief maceration, the grapes are pressed and the must undergoes a slow fermentation with secondary fermentation at a controlled temperature.
Maturation : Not required.
Color:  Pale cherry red.
Aroma:  Intense, fragrant, with sensations of fresh fruit, cherry, strawberry.
Taste:  Slightly lively, sweet, very elegant and it reproduces on the palate the fruity sensations perceived on the nose.
Perlage:  Fine and persistent.
Best time to consume:  1-2 years.
Pairings:  With sweets and desserts in general, with dry pastries or even outside of meals. In the production area typically combined with strawberries
Serving instructions:  Freshly uncorked in goblets at a temperature of 6-8°C.
