Typical Piedmontese wine par excellence, in recent years it has been revalued thanks to good work in the vineyard that has enhanced its qualities. It is a generous vine that gives purple-colored wines, with good alcohol content.
Wine:  Barbera del Monferrato DOC Sparkling
Grape variety:  Barbera 
Production area:  The grapes that give rise to this wine come from the hills of Monferrato, in particular in the municipalities bordering San Damiano d'Asti and Castelnuovo Don Bosco.
Vinification:  Maceration for at least 4 days at controlled temperature 
It completes the second fermentation in an autoclave
Maturation: short on the yeasts.
Color:  Intense ruby ​​red with purple reflections.
Aroma:  Fruity, floral, slightly spicy; hints reminiscent of violet and black pepper.
Taste:  Full-bodied, soft, fresh and with a pleasant vivacity originating from the long refermentation in autoclave. Tickles the palate.
Best time to consume:  1-3 years.
Pairings:  It is a wine for all meals, which finds in traditional Piedmontese dishes and typical Italian cured meats, the ideal combinations. Also excellent with medium-aged cheeses such as Fontina di Aosta or Gorgonzola.
Serving instructions:  Freshly uncorked in medium-sized glasses at a temperature of 16-20°C.
